Knowing the instant something goes wrong.

SAP Event Management is an application within SAP Supply Chain Management built to monitor and manage events across distributed processes involving partners, inventories, and assets. It captures events, analyzes them against a predefined plan, and triggers alerts or workflows to the right people the moment a deviation is found.

Visibility, in other words, is not a dashboard you check once a day. It is the system noticing the moment a shipment misses a milestone, and telling the one person who can act before the customer ever notices.

    Events arrive from SAP and non-SAP systems alike, through BAPI, XML, and IDoc interfaces and from RFID and Auto-ID infrastructure, into one event handler.

    Every event is checked against the expected plan, so a missing or late milestone is detected the instant it happens, not at the end of the day.
